- Copper sulfate is used as a drying agent in the anhydrous form, as an additive for fertilizers and foods.
- As Additives in textiles, leather, wood, batteries, ink, petroleum, paint, and metal, among others.
- It is used also as an animal nutritional supplement.
- The metal industry uses large quantities of copper sulphate as an electrolyte in copper refining, for copper coating steel wire prior to wire drawing and in various copper plating processes.
